Having too much of a good thing is bad. This applies to healthy foods as well. Most cycling enthusiasts are health conscious. That is a good thing. Of course we want to make sure that we stay healthy and in good shape so we can enjoy life and keep pushing the pedals.

However sometimes, some of us tend to be very health conscious in an extreme way. There are some riders who when learning about certain foods that promote good health, tend to consume them in excess which is a bad practice. Anytime you consume too much of a healthy food, you are compromising your health and for riders, this can compromise performance.
